Hudderfield Town have confirmed the signing of 22-year-old striker Steve Mounie from Ligue 1 club Montepellier.
The deal is reported to be worth a club record £11.44 million plus add-ons.
The Benin international pens a four-year-deal with the Terriers after a breakthrough season at Montpellier, scoring 14 goals in 32 starts.
At 190cm (6 ft 3 in) he will offer a large physical presence in and around the box, with Huddersfield manager David Wagner stating he has attributes suited to the Premier League.
The Premier League newcomers have now broken their transfer record three times in a couple of weeks. Striker Laurent Depoitre joined from Portuguese side Porto for £3.5m on 23 June and Australian international Aaron Mooy was signed for an initial £8m last week from Manchester City.
