Swansea City have signed Dutch goalkeeper Erwin Mulder on a free transfer after he turned down a new contract at Eredivisie club Heerenveen.

The 28-year-old has signed a three-year deal and becomes Swansea’s first signing of the summer window.

Mulder began his career at Feyenoord, where he made 120 appearances before joining Heerenveen in 2015.

Despite having never played for his nation the Dutchman has made over 250 senior appearances in the Dutch Eredivisie.
