French international midfielder Mathieu Valbuena has signed for Turkish Süper Lig team Fenerbahçe.
The deal is reported to be worth €1.5 million with Valbuena expected to sign a two-year deal with an option to a further year.
The experienced attacking midfielder, now aged 32, earned his reputation at Marseille, where he spent eight years.
His time at Marseille came to an end in 2014 when he joined Russian club Dynamo Moscow before returning to France a year later to sign for Lyon where he scored 12 goals in 76 appearances.
Valbuena’s first season at Lyon was overshadowed by the Benzema Sex-Tape case that led to losing his form on the field, this case led to him missing out on France’s Euro 2016 squad.
