Roma have confirmed the signing of central defender Hector Moreno on a four year deal.
The 29-year-old leaves Dutch side PSV Eindhoven after two seasons for a reported fee of €5 million
During his time at PSV he won the 2015-16 Eredivisie title.
The Mexican has vast experience in European football after he spent four seasons with Espanyol in La Liga and four with Dutch club AZ Alkmaar.
Moreno has represented his country 79 times with two goals to his name, he was also part of the winning squad at the 2011 Gold Cup and appeared in the 2014 World Cup for Mexico.
He becomes Roma’s first summer signing of the window, with the club’s vacant managerial post set to be filled by Sassuolo coach Eusebio Di Francesco today.
