West Ham winger Michail Antonio has been ruled out for the rest of the season with what manager Slaven Bilic described as a “significant injury”.
Antonio, who was called up for England for the first time in August suffered the injury in the Hammers’ 1-0 win over Swansea last weekend.
He was called up once again for England’s World Cup qualifier against Lithuania last month but was ruled out of the squad with a hamstring injury and is still to make his international debut.
The 27-year-old has scored nine goals this season and has been one of the standout performers in a disappointing season for West Ham.
West Ham signed Antonio from Nottingham Forest in 2015 and he signed a new four-year deal with the Hammers’ last summer.
