Lukasz Piszczek has signed a one-year contract extension at Borussia Dortmund to keep him at the club until 2019.
The full-back joined Dortmund in 2010 from Hertha Berlin who got relegated that season.
Piszczek joined alongside Poland international teammates Jakub Blazczykowski and Robert Lewandowski.
He was a key part of the Dortmund team that won two Bundesliga titles and reached the Champions League final in 2013.
His deal was due to expire in 2018, but following another strong season for Dortmund it was expected that Dortmund would offer him a new deal at the club.
The 31-year-old has played in 176 Bundesliga games for Dortmund, scoring 14 goals from defence.
