Spurs striker Harry Kane has suffered ligament damage to his ankle, the injury is not thought to be as severe as the injury he suffered earlier this season.

Kane was subbed after just seven minutes of Spurs  6-0 thrashing of Millwall in this weekend’s FA Cup quarter final.

The injury happened when Millwall defender Jake Cooper blocked his shot from close range.

The 23-year-old England International missed five League games and two Cup matches after a similar injury against Sunderland in September when he twisted his ankle in a tackle.

Kane is now expected to miss England’s friendly against Germany on 22 March and their home World Cup qualifier against Lithuania.
