Crystal Palace have signed versatile Leicester player Jeffrey Schlupp for an undisclosed fee.

The Ghana international is new manager Sam Allardyce’s first signing since taking over from Alan Pardew.

The 24-year-old signs for a reported £12 million, on a four-and-a-half-year contract.

He made 24 Premier League appearances in the 2015-16 title-winning season for Leicester.

However he has started only one Premier League game this season and not featured since the Foxes lost 5-0 in the Champions League at Porto in December.

Schlupp was also left out of Ghana’s squad for the Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.

Schlupp thanked Leicester, a club he had been part of for 13 years on Twitter along with fans for their support.
